We had great representation from the University at BUCS sprint triathlon on Sunday and everyone did a fantastic job by putting in a great effort. We were really impressed with everyones achievements, particularly of those who were competing in this triathlon as their first ever triathlon event! You all provided great team support and made the atmosphere at the event very enjoyable. Hopefully you have all caught the triathlon bug and are looking forward to competing for the club again very soon! Well done to Pete Wilby who placed 15th overall- great race for the Club.
Well done Team Exe!
BUCS sprint triathlon 2012
21 triathletes are competing from the club at the BUCS event this weekend. With most of the Club members competing at BUCS as their first triathlon event we are hoping that they will catch the competition bug and continue to race this season and put in a decent result at the weekends event.
Good Luck to all those who are racing!
Start of season/end of year Club dinner is an event to remember…
The second year of Club dinners it was a night of great fun with the usual, unbeatable triathlon club banter, classic and original awards and a good club effort in Arena following dinners close.
BUCS Duathlon 2011
Go Team Exeter!
25 of Exeter’s finest gathered on Sunday, 20th November 2011 to compete in the annual BUCS Duathlon. After a reasonably early start and some time spent napping on the M5 we arrived at the Castle Combe Race Circuit, where the race was held. Between competitors and our special support crew Exeter was the biggest Uni team at the event, and we did our University proud! The competition was fierce and the weather conditions not ideal, yet all finished with very good times, with Captain Chantal Cummings placing 13th in her section and Mens Captain Tom Hood finishing 60th (out of 337) in the overall competition. Well done to all who came along, all who competed and all who contributed to make our day a fantastic one- you did the club proud!
